ASECOP has implemented the project “Food Sovereignty: Palestinian Women Driving Change from Organic, Sustainable and Emancipatory Agriculture in Kaubar, Palestinian Territories” to strengthen food security, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and enhance the
economic empowerment of women in rural communities.
The project supports women facing socioeconomic vulnerability by providing them with access to productive agricultural resources and specialized technical training. Through the installation and operation of 2,500 m² of greenhouse structures.
In addition to improving food production, the initiative aims to strengthen the role of women as key actors in local development. Beneficiaries received training in greenhouse management, sustainable farming techniques, crop production, and agricultural best practices, enabling them to generate income, improve household food security, and contribute to their communities’ resilience.

By promoting environmentally sustainable agriculture and supporting women’s leadership in the agricultural sector, the project contributes to reducing economic dependence, enhancing food sovereignty, and creating long-term opportunities for vulnerable families in Kaubar.
