This project was implemented by our organization to support 40 Palestinian women in Rantis who are responsible for small agricultural plots and are living in vulnerable conditions, including unemployment, risk of poverty or social exclusion, or exposure to gender-based violence
The project aimed to promote local development from a gender perspective by introducing agroecological farming practices that protect the land, water resources, and public health. Each woman was supported with agricultural inputs and materials to grow local crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini, helping improve access to quality food at affordable prices and strengthening local food sovereignty.

Over a period of 12 months, the beneficiaries received training in organic farming, marketing, and labor rights, with a strong focus on gender equality. A local expert supported the selection of beneficiaries and led awareness workshops on gender equality, involving family members, neighbors, and representatives from the agricultural and public sectors to strengthen community participation and understanding.
The project was funded by Diputación de Málaga (DIP Málaga) and contributes to empowering women, supporting sustainable agriculture, and enhancing the resilience of the local community in Rantis.
