ASECOP successfully implemented a humanitarian assistance project in Deir Abu Mash’al, supporting 58 vulnerable families through the distribution of essential food and hygiene packages and the delivery of awareness sessions focused on health and gender equality.
The project provided each beneficiary family with a food package containing essential staple items and a hygiene kit to help meet their immediate household needs and improve their living conditions. This assistance contributed to strengthening food security and ensuring access to basic hygiene products for families facing socioeconomic challenges.
Alongside the distribution activities, ASECOP organized a workshop for all 58 beneficiary families covering nutrition, paediatric care, and gender issues. The sessions provided practical information on healthy eating habits, child health and development, proper hygiene practices, and the importance of gender equality within the family and the community. Participants actively engaged in the discussions and gained valuable knowledge to support healthier lifestyles and promote positive social practices.
By combining humanitarian assistance with awareness-raising activities, the project addressed both immediate needs and long-term community well-being. It enhanced the resilience of vulnerable households while promoting healthier families, greater awareness of child care and nutrition, and a more inclusive and equitable community environment.
